Hi folks, just signed up to this forum this evening, but have been reading it for a good few weeks now. Some really good stuff on here.

Have been shooting for about 12 years now, mostly clays but a good bit of rough shooting too. Just traded in some old guns for a new Escort, well chuffed with it.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum buddy. There are a lot of very helpful and friendly people on here, always willing to help you with any problems. With 12 years of experience, I'm sure you'll be able to give some good advice to the less experienced yourself. Let us know how the escort performes when you've used it a bit. I've been looking at one myself but need to save up some cash first as I've just bought my 1st Beretta! Hope you enjoy your stay :)

Thanks for the welcome, chaps :)

Reagrds the Escort, I got that about 6 weeks ago and have put over 1000 cartridges through it so far.

Have been using 28g competition loads. So far so good, no probs. No jams, stops, feed problems etc.

If anyone is thinking of buying one then yes, I would reccommend it. £265 new from local RFD.

The finish isn't exactly Holland and Holland quality, but you could do an awful lot worse for the money.

Ooh now that's very bad taste!

I was tempted earlier by the obvious Essex boy / Escort link, but thought better of it.

Besides, I know you have a capri ghia stashed away in a lockup someplace with a monkey, 2 hundred weight of moody gold and two lively shooters in it :)
