Mike737
Hello all, I have accidently bought 3kg of unsalted butter, not realising it was as such. (It was reduced at Makro ...) Is there a way of turning it into 'normal' butter, without altering the properties, as for example, melting changes it? Thanks, Mike. southern
Make anchovy butter We normally do one packet of butter and 1-2 tins of anchovies. Then spread it thick on french bread. Nom,
gazbev
Melting will change it,the milk solids will sink and you will be left with clarified bitter which is good for cooking especially curries. Other than that you have got to add salt
Blackpowder
Why put salt in butter? It tastes much better unsalted. Blackpowder
