Weihrauch HW50 tuning

I've had my HW50 for 19 years and it has provided loyal service and accounted for more rabbits than I an count. Now looking at replacing the spring and seals and giving it a service to hopefully get another 19 years out of it.

Has anyone done this to this rifle and have any advice? Also where did you buy the parts from? I've had a look on line and seen various places selling parts but if someone has used somewhere good then I would be interested to know.

Thanks,

Ruaraidh

Contact Will at Woodfieldgcp.co.uk. If you want I can PM you his number. He is very good with spring tuning and replacement parts.

Hello mate.

Recently I just bought my son a HW50. It was described as knackered. Ordered a spring and breech seal from Chambers. Fitting was easy. This is a Mk 1 where the rear block screws into the cylinder.

Shoots spot on now. Any questions just ask, I've got photos too of the spring etc if you want.

Cheers

Jonathan

I am doing the same with an HW97 and they are similar guns. The HW97 is easy to take apart and there are loads of videos on You Tube that take you through the process. I have a Welsh Willy on order and looking at the gun sin bits it is easy to clean and service. The delivery time for the kit is 20 days so while I wait I am stripping the stock down.
