Pheasant Feeder
I've been meaning to make my own knife for quite a while, so finally pulled my finger out and got on with it. Must say a thank you to m0t0deb for the donation of the buffalo horn and walnut to make the handle. Just got to give it a few more coats of oil over the next few days, and possibly a bit more polishing. Now got to think about making a sheath for it. Pheasant Feeder
A quick update. After much handling and fondling I decided to give it a little more shape, so it sits better in the hand. Also its had a good old polish and here's the result. Pheasant Feeder
top job there mate. f. Thanks I'm happy with it. Do u need the brass at the bottom of the blade You could probably manage without, but I found it gave me something to shape the handle to. Also I felt it would make the join between the blade and handle more hard wearing and neater. I think you can get them in a nickle finish if your not so keen on the brass.
