paul2012
As above, was cut a few days ago on my perm, usual field they feed/flight over has gone quite. I haven't seen them on it and i was wondering if they feed on it at all. Its a field over from their usual flight line.
Sprackles
If there is any left on the ground then yes they most certainly do......I was with ProTom1 on maize stubble for a 100 plus day. Suicidal would be the best description for their behaviour that day.
mossy835
crows love to go on it, had some fun with them waiting for lots of fields to be cut now, pigeons do go on it had some good days.
superspark
I have shot pigeon and crow over maize stubble, just waiting now for the farmer to cut his maize and I will be there with guns blazing lol. Need to fill my freezer with pigeon again as I am nearly out. I have decoyed them over stubble for more than two weeks after it has been cut before. JDog
Pigeons take a bit longer to find maize stubble, corvids can find it the same day.
