SNAKEBITE
Buy a Pellpax and see for yourself. All barrells are different but a good starting point is Field target trophy, gold tin. Excellent pellents in the old wackers.

SNAKEBITE
what about the new weihrauch pellets anybody used any I have not come across them but it might be worth a go. If they are anything like the Air Arms pellets in Air Arms rifles then they will be a winner.
Ian D
My old .22 hw77 loved H&Ns, as stated above, they are pretty good through Weirauch rifles. Regards, Ian.
stoggieman
Been using the new weihrauch pellets for some weeks now in my logun s16s and my webley mamba. I was using accupels but found to many bent skirts on them.My son shot 15 rabbits in 10 hours with the first tin they were all head shots and therefore clean kills. I was amazed when I looked at the pellets used they are an hard pellet and do not deform to much on impact. They seem to be a well made pellet and I have yet to find a bad one in the tin. I wish they came in tins of 500 instead of 200. The ones I am using are the F&T Specials I can reccomend them. Peter

Major Konig
Hi mate. I'm just running-in a brand new HW77 full length rifle in .22 and the pellet of choice seems to be H&N Field and Target Trophy. It also likes Superdomes so, either of these will not disappoint I think. As for the general condition of your HW77 rifle; why not treat it to an expert tune-up? Venom and Bonnie & Clyde seem to be popular choices? Major Konig
garden gun
Not put them through a HW, but we shoot RWS pellets (domes and points) and they are well made and accurate. No swarf in the tin at all.
UKPoacher
My first air rifle was a hw77 and loved RWS Super domes That's all I used for years in my HW77's. Vastly under rated pellet and cheap as chips.
The Duncan
H&N Field Target Trophy good one to start with german pellet for a german gun +1! Every hw springer I've ever had has done their best with FT Trophy's - consistency, accuracy and downrange whack included. For such a hard hitting pellet, their trajectory is pretty flat too
