camojohn
I am in a bit of a predicament. I want to take a friend shooting, but he has no shotgun certificate, so no shotgun. The Law states he may borrow a shotgun from the occupier (that’s me) of private premises and use it on those premises in the occupier’s presence. Can he borrow a shotgun from someone else yet use in my presence? If so would I have to be with him to when he borrowed the gun? https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/246643/Guidance_on_Firearms_Licensing_Law.pdf See paragraph 6.18 Shotguns. Kes
If you loan him your gun, borrow one from someone for yourself - 72 hours without having to notify your FEO - that should cover it !
