12boreblue
Hi Chaps I have an old downtrodden .410 investarm folding over and under, in need of some tender loving care. I am on the look out for a a service manual so I can strip and rebuild it completely, I am going to have the barrels re-blued and the action sand blasted to remove some rust and staining. I have stripped it all but can't find a way to get the top lever and firing pins out, there is a screw to the right of the pins, but this looks like it has been forced, so not sure if this will come out and release the lever and pins. Any advice very welcome indeed. I am also looking for a cheapish stock, which I am going to have wrapped. The one on it is in a bit of a mess. Many thanks :-) Edited October 23, 2013 by 12boreblue

kent
I shouldn't bother, they were cheap and cheaply made when new. You will spend more money and time on it than its worth, get a quality base to work from and use this for what it is or get rid, just an opinion and I did own a new one for quite a time years back. I have an old Baikel .410 here it is what it is, a rough old functional vermin killer, if I found a good base gun I should work on it but as they say you cant polish a ........ Gunman
I would very much doubt that there was ever one printed or issued .
12boreblue
I know it's an old, cheap gun, and in reality not worth the effort, but my little boy loves it and we are 'doing it up together'. Have found the top lever screw is rusted in and someone has tried to get it out before and knackered the screw head, so will put it back together as is. Will just give it a tidy up. Cheers Edited October 24, 2013 by 12boreblue
