Ferret Master
Hi, I can purchase a pair of Hunter-Neo Classics for £40. Are they worth it and also does 3mm neoprene really keep your feet warm in foul cold weather? As the normal Hunters that I am using at the moment don't Thanks in advance for any and all replies. Cranfield
I have no experience of these particular boots, but I can confirm that neoprene lined boots certainly do keep your feet warmer than standard linings. A cheaper alternative is to wear a thin ( as opposed to "boot socks") pair of thermal socks, over your normal socks.

Dunkield
There is a company in Devon (not the Sportsman) doing Chameau neoprenes for either 89 or 79 quid a lttle while back, if you can find them I would go for those instead. They had an ad in the shooting times a couple of weeks ago - sorry I can't remember their name.
al4x
I've a pair of these and they are excellent for the money, I've had mine 5 years very warm have lasted well a good compromise cost wise against le chameau. Don't suppose you can get any more at that price
Dunkield
I think, but I may be wrong.... It was Westports Country Store that was doing them, it was west something, and it was in Devon if that helps

Dunkield
WOuld be shocked if the boots are up for that money though? Shocked enough for a small wager before I look out the ad? EDIT: Obviously I have found the ad, hence the bullish reply :o "Chameau Vireznord Neoprene All Sizes were £110.00 now £89.95" Page 250 December 2006 Gunmart. Which is exactly what I paid for a pair for mrs stuartp at last years West Country Game Fair, so not that amazing...
