dogrun Posted October 27, 2013 Report Share Posted October 27, 2013 Had a nice end to the fishing season,haven't been all that clever most of the season owing to lack of water,but I had abit of luck more than most where we go,i had a nice salmon not very big but she give a good fight fairplay and glad to see her go back safe,also had a couple of seatrout or sewin as we call them in wales one was 11lb.already looking forward to next season,but here we are in the shooting season I love it.here's a photo of last seasons game,all in a pie I made,it was lovely had the recipe from one off the on line sites,cheers boys. That pie looks even better than the ones that I make for Fagan1972 and a few of the members of our gun club - That reminds me, we've a clay shoot on Sunday so I need to get out and get some fresh rabbits to make some more Pies with! It's good to hear that you put the hen salmon back in alive and just kept hold of the memory and respect for the good fight she gave you.
