That's a beautiful sewin,went today for a couple of hours down the neath,don't know whats happening down there this year but its the worse iv seen it for a couple of years,lost one about 10 or 12lb on april the 12th,but its been dead since,well done butty.

Sad but he looks as if he done the buisnes,before he popped is clogs good on him,

Ears mine,first is my boy second is of three rats caught in a trap at the same time.

Lovely fish that,and yes your right you wont beat fly fishing for seatrout or sewin we call them in the night,i had a nice 11lb fish in the night this season,nearly took the rod out of my hand,well done butty,

hello boys,had a fantastic day out rough shooting yesterday,with some brilliant dogs,8 pheasants and 5 rabbits,must have seen about 50 pheasants the dogs was putting birds up everwhere,and it was lovely to have a few rabbits aswell,not much sighn of any pigeons around,

brilliant day out that,well done butty.cant wait for tomorrow rough shooting myself.

Hello boys,had a lovely morning out last week,bit of flighting in the morning and a walk about after a cuppa and sandwich,didn't see a lot of ducks but we did manage to get a few,we had 3 teal 1 mallard 2 widgeon which wasn't bad,2 weeks before the teal was coming in,in they,re droves and we managed to get 14 which was enough for just two of us,anyway we had our cuppa and went around to look for some woodcocks,we seen about twenty and got five of them we also had three snipe all in all we had some cracking shooting and a lovely day to be out with some real good dogs and good company.cheers boys.

Had a lovely day out today,what a beautiful day to be out in the country on a walk about with my son inlaw,and 2 good hard working dogs,which did play up a little bit today owing to the amount of cent about,but has we went on they soon started to settle down and putting birds out all over the place,we are so lucky to have a couple of farms like we got,the farmers are great fella's and they don't mind us taking any birds as they don't put anything down,but we are in the middle of a couple of shoots so there is always going to be birds there.must have seen about 50 ended up with 9 pheasants and three lovely healthy rabbits,cheers guys.

Looked at one of the postings asking for old photos,here are just a couple when I was picking up at llangiby in usk in 1989,the first one is on the game cart,im second from the right with the moustache,photos were taken by the shooting times,next one is beaters , then beaters and guns,then a nice shot of three of the guns whit the old major gough in the middle,then its dinner up the woods with the grub on the back of an old range rover then me pigeon shooting in 1980 ,then a nice on of some pigeons shot over stubble with the best dog I have ever had,then my boy soaked to the skin rabbiting in 1988,hope I can fit all the photos on in one go,cheers boys
