chipper
Hi chaps, Can anyone recommend on a good way of connecting the lamp to the battery. I fitted crocodile clips on mine, but these tend to unclip more often than desired. Any pics would be great, and where to buy. steve_b_wales
After having many of the cigar type connectors, burning out on me, I now use this type. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360747243018?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D360747243018%26_rdc%3D1
The Essex Hunter
I use 10amp cigarette sockets on a 8.5 amp lamping battery, I soldered the flat tags on and taped them, also tapped the socket to the battery and have a band cut from a motor bike inner tube which keeps the male socket secure. Where they burn out is part to do with loose fitting. I have a male socket to charge the battery. My lamping is for foxes so I don't run the light for very long...
