mick miller
Well, the filters I made were a combination of 3m privacy screen and window tint. I have to say, they worked really well and I didn't notice any real drop in clarity. Sadly, I no longer own a NS200 so can no longer measure the screen to make another one. I bought one off Mick, and it was excellent. It did'nt affect the clarity at all.

Thanks, ATB Paul. Hi Paul. I used mine mainly with the onboard IR, as I was shooting close range. When outdoors, I used it, when required, with a blaserlite lamp with IR filter attached. This gave me viewing ranges of up to 300+ yards, but I never shot at that range. I've also tried my X Searcher IR torch with it, and it's excellent. I have used the NS200 on my .243 centrefire rifle, but never shot anything with it. I also tried it on my .22-250 and shot a rabbit at 132 yards. This was without any added IR. Alan I'm not quite understanding your terminology, the filters dim the light transmission, they do not make it less clear! (several filters available in the kit as well!)
