super sharp shooter
Not sure why I'm getting unburnt powder in my barrels. The load I'm using is 27grn of PSB2 powder fibre wad, cx2000 primer and 32g lead. Any advice guys

Churchill
Cold damp carts will leave residue in your barrels. store your carts in a warm dry place and see if it makes a difference.

Floating Chamber
I use PSB1 in that load. Edit: take a look at the MAXAM outdoors website. PSB2 is a slower powder for 36 gram. Maxam recommend PSB1 (1.75 gram) for a 32 gram load. Edited November 10, 2013 by Floating Chamber
Guest cookoff013
its the lack of pressure, usually if you add, alittle more powder it can dramaticly change the load, say you add 0.5 grain or more, that increment could increase the pressure to burn up all the powder including the ~5 unburnt grains thats always not being used. please check the data as even dirty loads can have high pressure that exceeds our 740bar limit (highly unlikely, but must be pressure tested.) super sharp shooter
Thanks for you advice people. I had a chat with David at clay and game aswell and he also confirmed that is was due to low pressure and give me something else to try. So it looks like I will be sending some loads off to the proof house in a couple of weeks to sort out the low pressures. Thanks sss
