Alycidon
Eley Impax or Hull Imperials. I find Impax better, only used a couple of boxes of Imperials. they worked ok but just did not seem to have the authority of the Impax. This may be down to the 26gr load. Impax is 28gr and designed for lightweight english game guns and their copies. Supergame etc will be unpleasant on the shoulder as will Grand Prix. shoot and be safe
Will be going back for a slab of the hull imperial game 26 gram 6's, very pleasant to shoot all day. Do you miss the extra 4-6 grams of lead? I have been told by a few chaps that these carts are the dogs plums! They are shooting them in 5's and are pulling birds out of the sky 40+ yards Thanks for all the other replies
JohnfromUK
You could get the chambers lengthened to accomodate 67mm shells,it doesn`t involve reproof. If you lengthen the chambers, this renders the gun 'out of proof'. Whilst not illegal to 'own it' - it is illegal to sell it - and in the unlikely event of an accident, insurance is not likely to cover it.
