Gordon R
Lad at Rishton Shoot - today - had a very nice Miroku. The action was black, but with a decent amount of engraving. The engraving, including the shoulders of the action and top lever, had a gold inlay. No letters in the serial number and he had no idea of the model. No letters - suggests pre 1969. 800 series? Anyone got any ideas?
TIGHTCHOKE
Miroku's shouldn't be blinged, they are good honest working guns!
matone
Some sort of Custom Shop model ? Over the years I`ve seen a few really nice Mirokus that I couldn`t put a number to,seems as if they`ve always made special runs or something. Perhaps most people would buy a Browning rather than pay for the Higher grade Mirokus,so they`re fairly scarce. Gordon R
Don't know whether the bling had been added. I have never seen a black actioned Miroku with as much engraving on the sides of the action, let alone the top lever or shoulders.
TIGHTCHOKE
I have seen quite a few tasteless aftermarket additions to Brownings so it's not out of the question that someone had a Miroku done!
