Actionpigeons
I had a phone call from a farmer whose land I shoot over last night, asking me if I had time to go over and shoot a field he had drilled a few days ago as there are hundreds of pigeons on it. Thinking the farmer has seen ten and its always hundreds, myself and PW member hawk4sport went over this morning. We parked in the gateway and could not see that many pigeons knocking about, but then from the direction of Nottingham came a flock of over 200 feral pigeons and landed on the field. There is only a cpl of places that you can safely set up and the direction the pigeons where coming from meant the very strong wind was almost into our face. We had some fantastic sport and ended up with over a hundred feral’s with a cpl of woodys as well. 05,12,13. Underdog
How was the wind...it's bad north staffs. I hate it when the wind is blowing the netting about! Good shootin'. U.

Yes it was very strong, and slightly from the left. The birds came over our right shoulder and the wind made it very sporting shooting. Underdog
I have been watching the flocked woodies on the wind sailing right past me sometimes. To many to shoot for me but it still stirs a sportsman to see U
