rabbiter
after reading a few posts on grand vitara 4wd systems not working as they should because of air leaks and the like, ive been reading with great interest the advantages of fitting manual locking hubs, does anyone have any experience of them, any pros and cons, after what ive read, there doesnt seem to be any cons..........DAZ
andypaint
I've got them on my fourtrak. As auto hubs are poop. With manuals your buying a more reliable system and stronger. Just remember to engage then before you actually get stuck! I engage them when leaving the house if im know im going on the fields that day. KFC
Yep, I had a Fourtrak until recently and the autohubs needed dismantling and lubricating every 12 months or they seized up and failed to engage so my 4x4 was a 2x4. I scrapped it when the clutch went otherwise I would have forked out to change them. Manual hubs all the way.

pigeonblasterian
My auto hubs knacked up on the fourtrak so fitted manual hubs.No problem just a pain having to jump out and engage them if the going gets a bit sticky.
