Maddaftspaniel
Having had plenty of pigeons around in feeding on acorns and beech mast I have had good sport flighting them into roosting woods in the afternoons over the last few weeks. Since last week however they seem to have done a bunk. Woods that could be relied upon to hold hundreds are almost empty and I cannot find any feeding on my ground. Where have they gone? Lg1
Over shot by the sounds of things! There's only so much disturbance they can take before they move elsewhere mate.

Maddaftspaniel
Over shot by the sounds of things! There's only so much disturbance they can take before they move elsewhere mate. I shoot over about 3000 acres in 3 separate blocks and have only been shooting them once or twice a week in different places. No rape here so perhaps they've moved onto it somewhere else? M ROBSON
Thousands been on rape now since early December. They haven't been on the stubbles this year as long as they usually are in this area. Seeing some massive flocks now.
