kent
Try removing the fillets taking the sinew off, press in a mixture of seasalt, pepper and fresh chopped rosemary then quick quick in the pan serving slightly rare Or anything normally done with venison as the two are quite similar (yes I know all types of vension are very different) to me Hare is small deer as regards cooking and they eat about the same things as deer
ditchman
had hare once in france, it had been cooked over old dry vine coals and basted with pork fat..............jugged hare is very very rich...not my taste
happy.plinker
last one I did it was boiled for 20 mins then diced and fried with salt pepper with loads of onion and served with clapshot and beans. If I'd entered a farting competition the next day I'd of won 1st prize!!
