colin lad
went for a walk with the dog and my .222 to see if i could find a cwd, no deer about well not after my less than stealthy dog had been through the fields, what i did notice was a few good size flocks of pigeon on the rape fields, typical as i left the shotgun at home, next time colin
turbo33
I wouldn't get too upset Colin, they seem to be the early season "Ram raiders" One shot and they're off, leaving you with a full flask, muddy boots and broken promises

garden gun
According to the Daily Wail yesterday the Lincolnshire brussels sprout crop is being hit hard and Tesco are complaining. Anyone out there confirm or is this just another load of Wail BS?

I had 42 on late-drilled wheat. No sign of them on rape except for that one cold morning we had a week or so ago. Can't blame the acorns 'cos there's not that many round here, unfortunately there don't seem to be many birds either. Roll on cold weather on the continent, I DO believe they come over then.
