Seal boards duck shooters canoe

I once had a big seal bump his way underneath the punt. I think he was sizing us up to be used as an outhaul, something he`d been doing to small tender dinghies for some months. He`d have capsized us for sure so my punting partner fetched him a smart smack alongside the ear with an oar.

He did`nt like that and swam off to look elsewhere for a place to dry out.

My cousin and I had seal pull on our leashes while surfing on the north Cornwall coast. We were sat on our boards waiting for a decent wave a seal was about 20 or 30ft away, next thing my leg was pulled sharply under my board then my cousins leg. Then up popped the seal next to us. It had swam passed and pulled our leashes.

To say we were pleased it was the seal is a massive understatement. My first thought was SHARK.
