Hi there

I have a game bag which is ok with a few rabbits in, when I've got 6-7 its heavy and bulky, is there any thing better I could use, like a roe sack type ruck sack,. Ithe other problem either game bag is that it leaks to, and I've. Tried different make and they leak at the seams to, any ideals gladly welcome

Atb

The mind boggles on the leak thing, what you doing hunting rabbits with a .308  . Roe sacks are just great for carrying a good few but can hold back your shooting some through balance and the placement of the strap. If I shoot a good number I tend to stash them in smaller batches to collect at the end hung in a hedge etc.

I use a pigeonwatch game bag. The other day I had 7 pheasants, a duck and a hare in it....... The fabric is water (read blood) proof but blood will still leak through the stitching so a bit of rag left in the bottom of the bag mops that up.

Yes it was heavy at 39 lb so I carry some cord to hang some game in strategic places for collection later rather than carry all of them as I shoot them.
