shawn9914
hi all I bought my son a second hand (as new) air arms s140f for Christmas, we used it on xmas day no problem then I put it in my gun safe, I have just got it out to use with him and the gauge was reading empty which I found strange I went and got the bottle to charge it up for him but as soon as I open the knob on the bottle I can hear air gushing out the end of the barrel can anyone help in what may be the problem, can it be fixed today or is it a gun smiths job I must point out it worked 100% on xmas day and today is the 1st time we have tried to use it since cheers shawn
Pigeon Paul
Cock the gun before you fill it and it should fill fine. This is quite a common problem when they get really low. I would get yourself a seal kit and change all the O rings (easy job if you have basic mechanical skills) the gun shouldn't have lost all it's charge in such a short period of time. Good luck. srspower
Best way to avoid this in future is not to let it get below 100 bar, btw I have run mine completely down loads of times without a problem when refilling although admittedly it isn't something I would make a habit of.
