Dbw1shrops
Hi all unfortunately just before Christmas on my last day of work (redundancy) 👎 I went to my disco as per the norm and discovered I was a couple of lights short ! Thieving scum bags 😡 any way long story short I've just had them done and alarmed but I've heard of some kind of strap you can put round them off the bay ! Anyone know of this because I can't find it on there Your input would be greatly appreciated just for a bit more peace of mind as I can't sleep that well at night now thinking there going to come back for some nice new ones !! Any one else experienced this at all ? Thanks Dave
glb8686
What about something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Discovery-2-Td5-V8-Front-Light-Guards-/231106639333 Maybe drill the screw heads out so they are harder to remove. glb8686
I'm sure you can buy steel ones too.

four-wheel-drive
I have not herd of people steeling lights before do you live in a doggy area if not I would just replace them and forget about it I would not think that it will happen again having said that I live in the country and things like that do not tend to happen here. SirDread
Facelift model headlight theft is rife across the country. Scrotes all over the place pinching them and selling them on ebay.

Azzurri
I was working on mine tonight and had to loosen a headlight to get the wing off, this involved removing the two screws in the top of the headlight which are only accessible with the bonnet open...how are the thieves getting the lights out, they must be causing some damage ? landy george
They break off the plastic mounting brackets, that's why some people sell on eblag with broken mounts.
andypaint
They pull them off from the bottom and just break the clips. So when lights are on. Open bonnet and cable tie bottom of headlights to the car tight which stops them pulling the bottom out to break the clips.
