Zetter
I use the Pulsar DSA on my NS50 and it works just as well as the merlin at about £70 cheaper
crossy 666
I use one on my ns200 mate after i knock my mates unit of my scope and lost it for a hr in the mud I brought one the next day.
steve_b_wales
They make the NS50/200 fit much better than the rubber tube that's supplied. The DSA is not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

The rubber tubes did not want to know at all on my Hawke Sidewinder so a DSA was the only option and its 100 times better giving a realy feeling of solidity. mick miller
I bought two, they're the best for all sorts of add ons. Really solid, well engineered items. Much better than the rubber tubes.

Zetter
Use one of these myself and it works well as an alternative http://www.uttings.co.uk/p110141-pulsar-dsa-challenger-g2-79042/ Edited January 10, 2014 by Zetter

Sorry Steve I thought he wanted to put an NS50 cam into it to make the mounting more solid.

I was thinking about fitting a Cobra Merlin, not an NS50. I do know though that the NS50/ NS200 will fit better to the scope using the DSA, so perhaps the one you mentioned will work okay as well. Zetter
Someone on BBS put me on to it as its a hell of a lot cheaper than the Cobra Merlin and did the job just as well for me.
