PhilR
I've got a pair of Le Chameau Chasseur wellies and a zip has broken after several years of hard use, has anyone had one replaced? There's a place called Busy Bees in Newmarket that do a zip replacement with collection and delivery service. Can anyone recommend them? Nikk
I have the same problem, the hoop on the slider has broken and the pull tab isn't attached anymore so there is nothing to pull on, I tried grabbing the whole thing to pull it up and cut my fingers to shreds. If you get told they can be fixed could you let me know as well, 260 quid is a lot of money to spend on some wellies and I'd like to get many more years out of them. Fisherman Mike
What was the turnaround please Mike?. About 8 weeks. I have been informed by a colleague just that a saddle maker might be able to help he apparently had a new zip stitched into the leather lining part of his hunters. Fisherman Mike
Might be worth sending a mail to these people who are the main stockists/suppliers.. I bought mine from a local country store who has now ceased to trade but they sent them back to France for repair. If you watch the video you will see why they are priced accordingly.. http://www.philipmorrisdirect.co.uk/clothing/le-chameau/dept/
