wymberley
Particularly Beretta. I haven't a clue and am getting conflicting reports. I am aware about drop, but are shims to adjust cast also provided, but not necessarily in every model?
sportsbob
With the AL391 I bought about 14 years back it had drop and cast, shims are easy to make though. Get some plastic sheet of the required thickness from a hobby store / model shop , use an existing shim or make a template to copy and cut one from the plastic sheet. Use and orbital sander clamped in a workmate or vice and by holding the new shim flat on the sander and applying pressure on the side you need to make thinner you can make a shim of almost and type. The only other thing you may need to do is make an offset washer for the stock bolt so start of with a large dia washer and file the one side away and make roundish you will then have a hole offset from the centre. malkiserow
I was a Beretta semi fan for many years but I now think some others are better. Over all, my Maxus is better, a 6.1/2 lb gun that can handle 3.1/2 shells and many shims in the box was a good package. The strip-down on the Browning is great and quick. Yep, spoke to GMK and the cast adjustment shim I read about is simply to change from 'on' to 'off' - you just reverse the one supplied. In short, the cast is fixed one way or the other.
