JDog
The gun I usually use for pigeon shooting is a Miroku model 6000. I have owned the gun for five years when I bought it as an emergency replacement when another gun I own, a Beretta, had to go in for repairs just when peas had been drilled and I didn't want to be without a gun for long. The gun was long due a service and it went in to the gunshop last Friday for a strip and clean. It came back yesterday with two new firing pins and a new safety catch spring at a cost of £125 all in. I would call that good value as it is a job I am not capable of doing myself and I dare say that the gun will get a bit of use in the forseeable future. figgy
That's a good price. Had my 682 Gold-E done a couple of weeks ago and all that got changed was the safety catch spring as I had bent it when I first got the gun as it was too stiff. Cost of spring extra £10.00 resetting the firing pin springs so they give harder strikes and service was £100.00 tota including the new safety springl. So yours was a good deal.
