FatFreddysCat
I've been using RTO closures and it works fine. However, other posters using crimp closures seem to be getting better pattern densities than me so I've just got a MEC. I'll do some pattern testing over the Summer and see how they compare. I've been thinking about a mec as well for my 10, i've got a mec in 12 which is very useful.
FatFreddysCat
I get by with a Lee Loadall for 12 bore. Crimps can be a bit weak but I just finish them off with an RTO to taper the crimp in a bit.

edenman
I use the 12g Lee loadall to pre crimp my ten gauge cartridges, then I finish them with a gaep finisher, simples!
kent
I use RTO, it has advantages in way of waterproofing but most of all cost. Its not like most use enough ammo on the saltmarsh to require the degree of automation that a full press set-up gives. Try the Alliant steel load detailing the SAM1 wad out of those (three I think) given this gave the best results for myself, its sweet shooting as well, only change I made was to mica dust the wad

I can see the advantage of a press for resizing once fired cases, if you didnt fire them yourself
