Depending on your ability you may be as well to pour it into the F&E tank (the smaller of the two in your loft) and then open your drain off on system (normally near lowest radiator in house) with hosepipe attached. That will pull the F&E water into the system bringing the inhibitor with it.

You are much better pouring it directly into the system if you can!. If you have a modern towel rail with a 1/2 inch bleed on top then take that out use a small funnel to pour it into that. Or if you are fairly competent at diy, you pour could it straight into the pipe work on the upstairs circuit.
