PAV331
I've decided to upgrade to a Gold E with adjustable comb, and have been looking for one with nice wood at the right price for a couple of months now. My question is, is the adjustable comb adjustable in all directions, up/down, side shift and 'twist'? I ask as I tend to need some side shift to stop me from getting my head to far over the comb. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Gordon R
The factory job is fully adjustable, but a poor mechanism in my book. The centre of the three grub screws controls a spring loaded part of the comb, which can and does fail. I would go for an aftermarket adjuster. elgreco
I have one, the comb is fully adjustable with a memory system so if you remove the comb it can be refitted in the same position Cheers Tom

This is very true, you really need to arrive at a setting and leave it there, ideally go for aftermarket.
