That Ferrari V12 on the downshift is music for F1 car nuts. The new cars for this season sound pants,in the eighties they ran 1.6 engines that still sounded nice,what have they done with the cack sounding things of late.

 

One of the best sounds was the banshee wail of th Montoya Williams in qaulifying when it revved to a lot higher rpm.

Fewer cylinders, lower revs.

 

Having said that in the motorcycle world I don't think you can beat the booming sound of a bid "L" twin Ducati :good::good:

BMW had a 1.5 4 cylinder in the 80's which produced 1300 bhp...some were reported at 1500 bhp in qualy trim...

 

give it a few weeks when they've sorted them all out and it be back to normal and you won't be able to remember what they sounded like last year...
