Why not send them (free) to our lads and lasses in Afghanistan? PM me for details of who to send them to. I've been sending magazines for over a year, and I know that they are very much appreciated.

Steve.

A great idea

Up to 2kg can be sent free from the post office. I used to get loads sent out to me and then pass on, great for morale. Just put in a thick bin bag to send, wrapped up.

Why not post the address to send stuff like this ?
I for one have plenty of interesting stuff that's worth nothing on the current market
but to send it to our troops would be a super idea.
Why sling them in a bin when they are good reading ?
I like this idea ....................................
Thanks Steve

Do what Steve and I did and message each other . Think of the security!! You don't want any armed forces address being bandied about on a Public forum. I thought the same until it was pointed out to me

Exactly. I'm more than happy to send the address via 'pm' to anyone who asks. The address was given to me by 'pm' and I want to keep it that way. If anyone has women's magazines -'Chat', 'Take a Break' etc, then I'm sure that they would be welcomed as well.

Steve.

What's the address to send them to?

Looking around I too have a fairly heft stash of shooting magazines to, which the boss has been whining at me about for several years.

'PM' sent.

Sorry .....I never thought that one through, before I began typing.

100% common sense

Cheers Steve
