Hodmedod.one
I bought some of these a few months ago and used them for the first time yesterday. I was using a side by side which I normally feed with SAGA 32gm plaswads. Jesus Christ, they kick like a mule I don't normally wear a glove on my right hand, but after the first half dozen shots I had to as the trigger guard was bashing the **** out of my middle finger. I still have a swollen finger this morning. It's back to SAGA's for the sbs. The poxy RIO's can go through the semi auto. I won't be buying them in fibre again. I have bought RIO's with plastic wads before and they are fine. I have also used several other brands of cartridge with fibre wads and have never really noticed the difference between plastic and fibre until yesterday. Graham M
32grms through a S/S bloody hell. I only put 28s through mine and that suits me fine. G.M.
pin
I use these as a cheap pigeon cart through my 686 and find them fine on the recoil front, though I am not a small lad so I might not notice if they did...

I have also used several other brands of cartridge with fibre wads and have never really noticed the difference between plastic and fibre until yesterday. Whilst at the Clay shoot the other day I was using a SbS and put my hand into the bag of carts i got with the guns i bought and pulled out a few carts Black they were with Victory 12 on the base. popped them in shouted pull and all hell broke loose. The bang was more like an explosion than a shotgun going off and the trigger guard smacked my middle finger making it swell instantly and the fore end of the gun jumped from my left hand. Of course my shoulder took a fair beating too and is still sore. I have used 66g carts before and had no real issues with them. Upon closer inspection of the offending cartridge it was a 40g 3s mini magnum They kicked worse than the 66g The shoulder was already tender from firing 40+ 32g carts the same day. Needless to say my Middle finger is a funny Yellow colour. My shoulder a funny black and blue colour. And my underwear a funny Brown colour LG
henry d
I have also used several other brands of cartridge with fibre wads and have never really noticed the difference between plastic and fibre until yesterday. Rio`s seem to be a fast cartridge and with fibre you will get more felt recoil as the plaswads tend to have the shock absorber between shotcup and gas seal. pin
Because they are cheap and I have to use fibre for a few regular shoots I tend to pick up Rio Target load 28g of no 7.5 in fibre and I find those fine, perhaps this was a new powder or something?
