Danny Fireblade
I'm looking at getting some extended chokes for my SP1 sporting, but while looking some say they will fit, but only certain ones? Does anyone have a SP1 with extended chokes? It's the sporting so it's the optima barrels. Cheers
bornfree
There are three types of optima chokes. Optima Optima plus Optima HP Make sure you get the correct ones.
Westward
Your barrels will be stamped with the choke type. If your SP1 is fairly new it will say OPTIMA BORE or similar but the very latest SP1s shipping to America have Optima HP barrels. My Prevail with HP barrels is stamped OPTIMA-BORE HIGH PERFORMANCE. Danny Fireblade
Well the choke says HP on it as you can see So I'm guessing it's the optima HP I am needing? Thanks everyone.
Blunderbust
I have the SP1 but it is the field version so has flush fitting mobile chokes. However my 692 has the Optima HP chokes which you show in the pic, they are the ones with the metallic coloured band at the top. Indeed I was looking to get a couple and found that Avalon Guns are selling them for £54 ish. In the case that you find them cheaper please let me know. Westward
You can buy from the GMK site but I don't think they're any cheaper although there's a small saving if you pick the DT11 style without the coloured band. I get the impression HP stands for 'higher price'.

browning123
What site from the states did you use and did you gave to pay import duties? Cheers I purchased them from PSHQ Europe and paid with paypal, When received I was charged import duty as they were despatched from the States. I emailed the company stating I ordered the chokes from PSHQ Europe and paid with euros and I should not of paid import duties which is not required from Europe. The company eventually issued me a refund.
