I have an SL5 on my .223 and I would recommend it.

I've never bothered cleaning it 1000+ rounds and it's still mint.

It's single point so just make sure it's done up tight - I've never had a problem with it loosening.

The only thing perhaps is it's quite fat and you might get glare if you have a lamp directly behind it. Never had a problem with an ns200 though.

well thanks for your kind input guys, ive gone totally different today,i ended up with an atec cmm4,over the mmon with the setup, lovely balance,i tried a few mods on the rifle in the shop,p8,s5,and a northstar, but the balance and feel with the atec was much better, ill put a pic up soon of the setup, the bases that came with the rifle were infact the wrong ones,so the inhouse gunsmith tapped the holes to fit the weaver bases to fit the warne rings,at no exra cost, got a great deal,so now i need to go and play(when the wind drops a bit).....DAZ
