team tractor
I've got a semi auto v22 which I've cleaned but it's struggling to cycle . I've tried booking it in at southern gun company but it's been over a week of trying now so I was thinking have over cleaned it and should I of lubed it up? I've took all the slides out that were covered in black crud but haven't lubed it after . Should I wd40 / gun oil the slides normally ? timmy1146
Just clean the black crud of with the help of wd40. Wd40 kind of lubes a gun but burns and wears off really quickly, best used to help clean dirt of a gun. Then give the slides a good bit of oil, cycle the action by hand a few times and wipe any excess oil off. This should get it running again! If this doesn't work. Try checking the recoil spring to see if any gunk it clogging it.

welshwarrior
Personally I wouldn't leave wd40 on my guns it burns off or remains sticky and attracts dirt as normal oil will also do. I prefer break free lube http://www.break-free.com/?location=/products/index.asp Work brilliantly on all semi and fully auto weapons in all environments a little goes a very long way. Sportsmans sells it. I believe there is now a good rival call something like frog lube. FatherandSon
Im not familiar with this gun but if its cycled with ported gas make sure the gas ports are clear and the gas seal is in good condition otherwise it will never cycle. mickmep
I use a film of grease on the slides/bolt and the 2 rods that run through the bolt on mine. literally a dob on finger and wipe it on/off with my finger. it does get cleaned and relubed every time I use it though.
