wildrover77
It looks like I will have a couple of guns to ship over from the USA. To dilute the admin/overhead costs of doing so I am look for others to include guns in the shipment. Anyone want to bring something over? MAB1954
I'm looking for a barrel for a Mossberg 500, thought about getting one from US but did nothing. How do you go about it? What is the costs. If there's enough interest could be just what I need to get that barrel. PM me if you prefer with reply.
Sco77w
I never realised this was even possible as an individual. I've just ordered a Marlin 1894 and it is going to cost me more £s than the American list price in $s I know what my local RFD is making on it (he's surprisingly open about things like that) and its not a lot. If this can be done why is he not buying direct instead of going thro the importer?
wildrover77
It is not cheap or easy the export license fee on USA is 250 dollars + dealers fee over there. Then there is Vat when they arrive here 20% And an import brokers fee of about 120 pounds And of course the shipping cost. For one item it is prohibitive but for a number it is affordable. timmy1146
Pretty sure you'd have to have the guns proofed as well wouldn't you?
welshwarrior
Pretty sure you'd have to have the guns proofed as well wouldn't you? Depends if they come from an accepted country and are proofed like Italy etc.
