going to look at a landrover today help needed

Recommended Posts

Without seeing it I would say you cant go far wrong with it, the engine alone is worth a bit if its a good one for someone to put in a defender or a series Landrover, 200tdi heads are hard to come by now as I don't think they make them anymore

They don't make them anymore, that's why I've got a spare waiting in the shed. Shame I'm now running a 300.

I'll make a terrible prediction. It will end in tears.

If you don't know the first thing about car's........................it will end in tears.

Well 2 of my good mates are mechanics and 1's a m.o.t tester and another is a welder by trade .

i'm not a mechanic but I'm mechanically minded .

Well I can fully strip a motorcross engine and rebuild it (yz250) and people say these are easy to work on . Let's see what happens. Like you say barney. Even if it fails m.o.t (which it won't when my mates done a small bit of welding ) I'm sure I could break it for not far of what I paid . Wheels are all good with good tyres . Nice clean interior . Nearly no marks anywhere ! The chassis is in mint condition. . To be honest if I was reading this post I'd be suspicious . Yes it does sound to good to be true . But like I said . Only time will tell
