bobby t
the stoegers are bennelli copies and work on inertia (recoil) benellis are highly rated in the sates and the stoeger will probably be the same, no gas ports to clean light under the foreend and will dampen recoil virtually the same, possibly be a bit more reliable with light loads also
mossy835
stoeger are a good shotgun they use them a lot in the usa.go two www.stoegerindustries.com

conor
id go for a gas opperate semi, my friend got a benelli super black hawk ii i think is the name, it is fussy with lighter loads, recoil is also more noticeable compared to my 391 teknys which gladly cycle all weights ive put thru it. person22
well i did the part exchange, not overly impressed so far, ive only been able to use it once but it kept jamming. it wouldnt spit the empty cartridge out and it just staying in the chamber, will try with other cartridges soon. Peter_HMR
Mechanical semi's wont work well with light loads anything under 30g and wont eject properly certainly on new guns if you shoot alot of magnum loads out of it it should lighten up the bolt though . Whats wrong with the Beretta if its working i dont think your going to get a much better gun for under £600 your just getting a better looking gun. eagleye
i didnt grasp weather it was brand new or not but ive always been advised if new wack a couple of hundred 36g cartridges through it to loosen everything up all my beretta semis cycle 24g ok or if its s/h try some d&j cart through it you might just need a cartridge with a bit more recoil to help with the cycle helped with someone down the club with a fabarm auto all the best eagleye
Suffolk shooter
Go for a 2nd hand Browning Gold hunter in Camo and 30" barrels with 3.5" chamber. Its gas operated and manages everything I've put through it from 24 gram loads to 56 gram Steel. Comes in Nice ABS case, easy to put together/take apart, cleans well, never had a problem and you should be able to get something for around £4-500. I did, I got mine off a guy on here at last years Bisley open Day in April/May for wildfowling, but have used it on everything except game.
