fortune
Son in law wants to make a shooting frame for his hardtop Jimney that could be fitted to rear tow bar frame. Anyone use something like this or seen one that has been made for this purpose. OR does anyone use one for night shooting and if so what is your mode of operation? Salop Matt
I just shoot from the passenger seat over the wing mirror on our Jimny. It isnt the best but its better than a lot of folk have ! ATB Matt
Dave-G
Not a Jimny but very similar size 4Wd. Due to health reasons almost all of my shooting is now done off the door mirror bracket: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v695/Dave-G/DSCF1028_zps825ca98f.jpg
fortune
Thanks for the replies guys. It isn't an ideal vehicle but we have the skills, eqpt and the ability to make anything to make a good setup but it was to find out if anyone uses this vehile and how they operate with it
Davyo
Have you thought about putting a sunroof in I fitted 2 to the vitara only cost £20 each. Pop the rear one out and you have a perfect shooting hatch and an old roof bar makes a good rest. Edited June 25, 2014 by Davyo
fortune
That's always a possibility. I don't know if this would cause a problem with body stiffness as he uses it a lot off roading..
