204 Ruger in Tikka T3 LITE

Is anyone using a Tikka T3 LITE in 204 Ruger?

I have a 204 Ruger in a heavy barrelled rifle because I want to see the bullet strike, but it's heavy to walk around with.

I'm considering swapping to a T3 Lite, but am concerned that I might not be able to watch the bullet strike in a lighter rifle.

I just wondered if anyone is using a spotter barrelled 204 (with a moderator), and could help me with this?

Thanks for the replies. The weight isn't too much to bear - but I'd like something a little less weighty.

I'm thinking of doing exactly the same thing. Ignore the macho, masochistic comments, only fools carry great heavy lumps around the countryside.

My thoughts are, that as the .204 is such a soft recoiling caliber, no matter how light the rifle, one should still retain the sight picture.

I fail to see you not being able to especially with a moderator holding the front down. Its a funny thing though because depending on stance and hold you can see the strike with far heavier cals than .204 in a sporter format, yet still some struggle
