scotslad
Alright folks Just wondering if anyone knows any decent grippy or off road/AT type tyres for small 14" rims. The tyre size on the now is 175/65/14. Not really found much searching throu the usual sites althou just found a mud/snow remould for £30 quid, i'm not a fast driving rarely over 60 but do cover 20K ish miles a year. So not sure if the remold is the way to go? Really just for parking on verges and that usually pulling a small trailer, have it it stuck a few times, but considering some of the places it goes not bad really. My last scrapper was on 13" and i ran winter tyres all year round which was OK so might just go back to doing that again if no other suggestions. figgy
If you do the amount of miles you do. Try some town and country tyres, bit more robust tread than normal road tyres. Carry some snow chains in case you get stuck they work just as well in mud. Save you a decent wedge in fuel and tyres. Figgy
