pegasus bridge
I'm going to have a go at making a hide tray / tidy , similar to one in the market commercially, I want it to attach to the hide poles . I've got plenty of material for the table bit- bit I'm struggling for inspiration on attaching it firmly, but quickly on/off the hide poles - does anyone have any ideas that might work? Cheers all Edit; lightweight is a priority too!! Edited July 10, 2014 by pegasus bridge
happy.plinker
Plastic diy spring clamps would do if there's not too much weight.Bolt one clamp leg to the table maybe.

NickB65
Can't even find one for sale to get an idea as to how they do it..... anyone got any links as I would love one of these to hold my sarnies.... whenever I get my sarnies out the pigeons come and I am tired of picking dirt out of them Found one on-line :-) Edited August 16, 2014 by NickB65
pegasus bridge
Search the bay for "seat box tray" under the fishing section. I already brought the commercially made hide tray, otherwise I would have Definitely have tried one of these. Some of the designs with higher sides also look like an improvement on the version made specifically for hides.
NickB65
Hmmm but they are not cheaper but deco some are a tad bigger and deeper sides

Cosd
I did a review on this some time back, my opinion hadn't changed except I wouldn't be without one now. Regards making one, other than the satisfaction of doing it yourself, the cost to buy is so little I can't see that the effort spent over cost saving being worth while. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/280413-luxury-in-the-hide/?fromsearch=
