Hide tray / mini table

Recommended Posts

I'm going to have a go at making a hide tray / tidy , similar to one in the market commercially, I want it to attach to the hide poles .

I've got plenty of material for the table bit- bit I'm struggling for inspiration on attaching it firmly, but quickly on/off the hide poles - does anyone have any ideas that might work?

Cheers all

Edit; lightweight is a priority too!!

Can't even find one for sale to get an idea as to how they do it..... anyone got any links as I would love one of these to hold my sarnies.... whenever I get my sarnies out the pigeons come and I am tired of picking dirt out of them

Found one on-line :-)

Search the bay for "seat box tray" under the fishing section.

I already brought the commercially made hide tray, otherwise I would have Definitely have tried one of these. Some of the designs with higher sides also look like an improvement on the version made specifically for hides.

I did a review on this some time back, my opinion hadn't changed except I wouldn't be without one now.

Regards making one, other than the satisfaction of doing it yourself, the cost to buy is so little I can't see that the effort spent over cost saving being worth while.
