chapperz1991
I posted a few weeks ago regarding a request for a new referee for my firearms application. Well today my Fac & coterminous Shotgun certs have arrived only 19 days after first applying! Hats of to Suffolk Constabulary and Chris Allen. I have a Browning T-bolt on its way I feel for all the people waiting months and months and glad I live in a very efficient parts of this kingdom. Sitinhide
Mine took 4 weeks from handing in application to the certificate being delivered by postman Pat. Great service by Norfolk police, shame others don't receive this type of service.
Jim c
Suffolk do seem to be quick. My last 3 variations have all been under a week
TaxiDriver
Chris Allen seems an accommodating and helpful chap indeed, Also struck me as quite pro shooters Was able carry out a land inspection within 3 days of Essex asking Suffolk to check a piece of land. chapperz1991
Yes pro shooting indeed. You feel you can ask any questions and get an honest and professional answer which is the way it should be. Too much red tape and differing views from all counties. Finally picking up my new t-bolt tomorrow after what feels like an age.
lloydi73
Bloody lucky you....mine has taken 9 weeks just to meet at my permission so he can assess the land for .17 and 243 calibre I have applied for!! It's gonna probably take another two weeks after this to get the certificates...... Edited July 17, 2014 by lloydi73
