Royboy
Hi , I'm will soon be moving into my new house and not sure where to put my cabinet, it's a semi detached so could I bolt it to the wall that joins next door ?? Should I have it up stairs or down ?? Cheers Edited July 19, 2014 by Royboy
Subaru_sti5
Anywhere bolted to the main fabric of building so bolting it to the firewall you are referring to will be fine, but out of site if possible is ideal.

camojohn
Inside a fitted wardrobe out of sight is good. +1 The police suggested inside the fitted wardrobe and bolded to the wall. I bold a small safe on top for bullets gun bolt and key to the gun cupboard. A mate of mine put his in the loft to save space.

Royboy
I don't have a fitted wardrobe at this house, the one I've got at the moment was fit for me 20 years ago when I was a kid ! So that's why I'm unsure where to put my new one,
clakk
I "built" a cupboard around mine in my last house.bolted the cabinet to the wall n floor in the space between my kitchen n downstairs bathroom and got a frame kit from wickes ,bout 30 quid and put a door on it .anyone coming in the back door saw a "pantry" door with coat hooks on it.hide in plain site as they say.atb
