snarepeg
Well, sat on high seat at 4/15am, and cold it was. First pheasant down at 4/30 but main lot from 4/45 onwards, sun coming up at my back and watched and waited till 6am then checked the snares/traps and home. Back tonight, it's not gone away. snarepeg
No, very quite watched them come down from roost, that's those that are roosting as there are a lot jucking in the sugar beet. It was a lovelly sunrise so if nothing else worth the early morning call. More snares going down today,

snarepeg
BINGO, everything comes to those who wait, and he came this morning. Watching pheasants coming down from roost, first one at 4/40 then a flush then Charlie, dashed out hit a bird and I hit him, 80yards at 4/55am, watched the sun rise and home at 6am, well worth the effort.
