birdsallpl
I'm looking for something I can use to carry my gear onto the fields and pop down to the village in.I currently have a 4x4 which I use for everything, shooting and pleasure but it is beginning to become expensive. I am considering selling the 4x4 and running two vehicles one social and economical and one for shooting. I have seen these advertised but can anyone tell me please what the 'Road registered limited actually means please. figgy
They are the little off road buggies like golf carts used on shoots. Loads of them about but not much good on the road. Cheaper to buy a little 4x4 for shoot use. Figgy
birdsallpl
Thanks figgy but do you know what they mean when they say 'Road registered limited' does it mean the amount of miles is limited or the speed has to have a limiter fitted, that's where I'm confused. Thanks anyway.
countryman
It could be Agricultural registered, so just go from field to field on the road, work use only. I had a quad on this once. Chris
spandit
It means you can drive it on the road, in which case you'll need insurance and tax
ColinF
Limited agricultural use means journeys of up to 1.5km between pieces of land that you "occupy". You will need insurance but no MOT, you will also need to apply for a "nil value" tax disc each year.
