After 2 hours of launching a lenght of 3x 3 up into the branches we came away with a cracking little haul ( and myself with sore shoulders and arms ha ha) .As the park filled up with dads and kids I found myself chatting to the other dads about how it was the norm for us to do it as kids, but nowadays the schools won't allow conker comps in the playground because of health and safety( bleddy stupid). I left the 3x3 for the other dads to try there hand at launching, let's say it was put to good use and the kids and mums and dads were all having a ball, The attached pic is of my daughter with that lump of wood that I was launching into the trees followed by the delightfull cries of "nice one dad that throw got 5 , throw it again, throw it again "ha ha I enjoyed as much as the kids really ha ha Atb Flynny
